Dear all Who seek to Mind your Mind,
Among the many lifestyle interventions reported in our 3-D Plan to reverse cognitive decline and to prevent dementia, is to Rejuvenate your brain with an Abundance of Optimism and Positivity. One method discussed to attain this elusive goal is Mindful Meditation.
Allow me to take you on a brief Mindful Meditation journey. Relax. Breathe in. Focus on you, pleasant surroundings, pleasant thoughts. Breathe out. Now imagine you are on a beach. The warm sun feels delicious; the salty air smells divine. You focus on a toy boat bouncing on the waves. Total concentration, up and down, up and down the waves. Ahh! Inhale, Exhale. You can see that Mindful Meditation is a gratification of the senses with powerful relaxing visual imagery.
Now I ask for your participation in an unpleasant, but fixable imagery experience. Imagine a model or poster of a brain you might have seen. Recall that this brain has many folds and ridges. On some of these ridges are unwanted cobwebs and on some of the folds there are deposits of an unwanted red jelly. These unwanted cobwebs are tau tangles and the unwanted red jelly is the amyloid protein of toxic Alzheimer’s deposits. Some of the brain sections seem to be atrophied.
Along comes Optimism and Positivity, with a vacuum, sponge, and a brain growth solution. The vacuum removes the cobwebs, the sponge wipes up the red jelly and behold, no more toxic cobwebs or red jelly. Wait, what about those atrophied sections? Now comes the brain growth solution. Just a few drops produce growth of the atrophied brain.
Ultimately the imagery is pleasant. – Optimism and Positivity have been demonstrated to remove toxic Alzheimer’s deposits and to promote brain growth! Good luck with all of the Interventions discussed in our 3-D Plan.
